November Letter from Pastor Reggie
Thankful! That is the word that comes to mind when I think about Thanksgiving and look back at what God has done this past year while also looking toward the future. We’ve celebrated 30 years here at FWC. We’ve seen lives touched, people saved, and growth in every area of our church. Now we move forward with a renewed spiritual emphasis to present four different expressions of one great church to contend for His glory and to increase fervency. Our God is so faithful and continues to bless our church exceedingly and abundantly above all we could ask or think!
Psalm 100:4 says, “Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.” As we begin our holiday season, let me encourage you to take a moment to reflect on what God has done and is doing in you and your family’s lives and give thanks. Giving thanks always fills our hearts with great joy and it is the way we enter into His very presence.
Here at FWC we are so thankful for the role you play in God’s house. The list of those who serve faithfully is simply too long for me to begin to write down here.
If you are searching for more ways to be a part and get involved, this is the perfect time of year, as we have so many wonderful opportunities at Thanksgiving and Christmas. Let’s work together to help make this holiday season special for everyone in our church and community!
Again, I thank you for your faithfulness to God’s house, and I pray God’s blessings on you and your family during this holiday season!
You are so loved!
