November Letter From Pastor Reggie
November is here, and it is so wonderful to see the spirit of Thanksgiving everywhere you look. There are so many things we can be thankful for! Our family, our health, our church; but, most importantly, we are thankful for the love of our Heavenly Father who sent His Son, our Savior, Jesus Christ.
Psalm 95:2 says, “Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms.” When you think about it, thanksgiving goes hand in hand with praise and worship. That is one of the things I was so excited to see as we gathered for Night of Worship. I truly believe that God is bringing His Church together in these days, not around a man or personality, but through a genuine movement of worship.
As you gather together with family and friends this Thanksgiving, let me encourage you to take time and celebrate the things you are thankful for. Let the scriptures be our guide to a lifestyle of thankfulness. Colossians 3:17 says it so perfectly, “And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.”
On a personal note, let me say that I am thankful for you. It is truly an honor to gather with you and your family every week throughout the year as we praise together, worship together, pray together, and study God’s Word together. I am praying this will be the best Thanksgiving ever, for you and your family!
You are loved,
