October Letter From Pastor Reggie
Fall is officially here and there are so many great things happening at FWC!
When I think of the Fall season I can’t help but think about change.
This is such a beautiful time of the year as everything around us is changing. It reminds us how we are always being transformed as well.
2 Corinthians 3:18 talks about how we are “changed from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.” This is a change that takes place in God’s presence, which is why we put such an emphasis on the presence of God in every expression of Family Worship Center. From Sunday mornings to Wednesday nights, we rely on the presence of God and He never disappoints!
If you have been out shopping lately, it’s obvious that the holiday season will soon be here. I saw Christmas trees and decorations on display just the other day! Don’t get too busy that you forget to make time for your family during this season. This is a great time of year with the start of cooler weather to walk the lake or plan a picnic with family and friends.
Much in the same way, I encourage you to spend time with the Family of God. We have so many great opportunities this month for Worship, Prayer, and Community.
I hope and pray you won’t miss a thing!
